FOUNDATION GRANTS

4-H Member & 4-H Club Grants

The Otoe County 4-H Foundation offers mini-grants to registered Otoe County 4-H members and Otoe County 4-H clubs to help boost youth development in Otoe County. The Foundation supports projects benefiting Otoe County 4-H members, Otoe County 4-H clubs, Otoe County residents, and Otoe County communities. These grants support the Foundation’s mission to enhance 4-H programs, secure funding for local 4-H initiatives, and prepare young people to be future leaders.

Grant requests can be funded up to $500, though the Foundation may choose to award amounts either below or above this range. Grants should support a one-time, short-term project lasting no more than one year, though multi-year projects may be considered. These grants are meant for group activities and projects at either the club or county level.

Applicants need to use the official grant application form. Forms are available at the Otoe County Extension Office at 620 1st Street in Syracuse, NE; can be requested by calling 402-269-2301; or downloaded from otoe4hfoundation.org.

The Foundation Board of Directors will review all applications. Project completion forms, along with expense records and receipts, must be submitted within one year.
